Welcome to P3/1

Our teachers are Mrs MacCormack and Mrs Lang.
In Social Studies we are learning all about the Egyptians and Irrigation.

Here is one of the papier mache  Tutankhamun Death Masks that we made.

 

We made a shaduf (a machine to move water from a lower place to a higher place). We have our own research books and we can go to our research table and read books all about the Egyptians in our free time.

 

 

 

 

We effectively contributed with our technology partners to work out the best method of making a shaduf.

In RMEd we have been learning all about mosques.

We effectively used different painting skills to create our artwork.

In science we are learning all about plants.

 

We are looking forward to looking at plants closely through a microscope.

 

 

The Spider's Shoes

We wrote and illustrated our own stories about spiders. We made our own brightly coloured spiders using pipe-cleaners.
