Eaglesham Primary School serves the village of Eaglesham, Waterfoot and the surrounding rural areas. Almost all pupils transfer to Mearns Castle High School, the associated Secondary School. The roll is 361, and the Staff roll is 55.

There is a Nursery Class on campus serving 100 pre-school pupils with a staff of two Teachers, one Senior Child Development Officer and two Child Development Officers.
