Stop Text Bully

Text bullying is when someone abuses or threatens you by text, and it’s just as bad as them doing it at school or in the street. And because there’s loads you can do with mobiles and PCs now – like checking emails on your mobile, picture messages and online chat – someone could also use those to text bully you through your mobile or PC. This website is designed to help teachers, young people and parents to understand and prevent text bullying. Please use it freely, with classes as part of citizenship or PHSE, or by making it available to individuals who may benefit.

CashBack for Communities

CashBack For Communities was launched by Justice Minister Mr MacAskill in January 2008. This is a new flagship programme of young people's activity funded from assets seized through the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002. The main objective of the CashBack programme is to provide a wide range of positive activities for young people between the ages of 10 and 19 years across Scotland. CashBack For Communities aims to make a visible difference in local areas, increasing sports and arts opportunities for young people to ensure they have positive options to pursue.
