Behaviour Support

Behaviour Support is a school wide resource that complements learning and teaching by offering support to pupils with a range of behavioural or communication difficulties.

A variety of support strategies are used including one to one counselling, target setting, group work and in-class support. In addition support is provided through the staged intervention process. Framework for Intervention which considers how environmental changes can alleviate low-level disruption at the earliest stage within and outwith the classroom. Parents/Carers are valued at vital partners in this process of change and the team also works collaboratively with a range of other children's services.
