Hello from one of Mearns Castle's first pupils

Hi there, I was browsing your website and came across the Alumni page, where you asked that anyone who was a former pupil and is now successful, to get in touch. Well, I was one of the first pupils at Mearns Castle High and moved from Williamwood High when we were given the option to do so. I have very fond memories of the school and I am now a Senior Lecturer in Forensic Psychology at Teesside University, Middlesbrough. Prior to this I spent 22 years in the Royal Air Force Police. Former pupil running in London Marathon for Charity

Andrea Young and two other mums from Mearns Castle High School have been running hard to raise funds for the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice by running in the London Marathon.

The three of them finished in a time of 4 hours and 19 minutes. Huge congratulations to them and their valiant fundraising efforts.
