Family Hallowe'en Party
Thanks to our PSA Committee for organising a great family night out on the 23rd October. There was a very lively atmosphere in the school that evening and it was lovely to see so many families enjoying themselves and dooking for apples!
Go to the Parents section and click PSA to find a link to more photographs.

Castle Toward
Once again a very successful trip to Castle Toward in Dunoon.  The children had a fabulous time and they learned many new skills and discovered hidden talents. They undertook gorge walking, hill walking, night hike, archery and many more activities.   The children were great ambassadors for Our Lady of the Missions.

Go Greener
The Go Greener award was presented to Our Lady of The Missions Primary on Thursday  24th September by Councillor Eddie Phillips and Glyn Jones from Go Greener. organisation .

The awards were only given to 12 schools in East Renfrewshire for being outstanding in their effort in being Eco friendly.

Thanks to the pupils on our Eco Committee for all their hard work!

As part of our transition programme, our Primary One parents were invited to school to "Meet the Teacher". Many parents were able to attend and enjoyed having the opportunity to speak to their child's teacher in an informal way. They were able to ask questions about any issues or concerns and were given information and advice on  curricular areas, PE routines and homework activities.
Feedback from parents and staff was extremely positive. Parents felt more informed and reassured and were glad to be able to put a face to the names of these important new people in their child's life!!

Welcome back!
It is a pleasure to welcome everyone at the start of a new session.  We look forward to working closely with you to making this a happy and successful year for the children and staff of Our Lady of the Missions.
