School Dental Inspections
The Community Dental Service is required to carry out school dental inspections.  This year your child's class will be inspected.  This will be carried out to a high standard of hygiene and no x-rays will be taken.  One of the purposes of these inspections is to inform you of your child's oral/dental health.

As part of our transition programme, our Primary One parents were invited to school to "Meet the Teacher". Many parents were able to attend and enjoyed having the opportunity to speak to their child's teacher in an informal way. They were able to ask questions about any issues or concerns and were given information and advice on  curricular areas, PE routines and homework activities.
Feedback from parents and staff was extremely positive. Parents felt more informed and reassured and were glad to be able to put a face to the names of these important new people in their child's life!!

Welcome back!
It is a pleasure to welcome everyone at the start of a new session.  We look forward to working closely with you to making this a happy and successful year for the children and staff of Our Lady of the Missions.
