Our School Aims and Values

Our aim is to help all our pupils to fulfil their potential to the full in every aspect of their spiritual, intellectual, personal, physical, social and emotional development. Within the atmosphere and ethos of a Catholic school we strive to enter into a genuine partnership with all stakeholders in order to:

  • Promote Gospel values as a way of life and encourage good relationships and caring attitudes
  • Provide opportunities for all members of the school community to develop their skills and talents to the full
  • Encourage a spirit of partnership between home and school
  • Advance social justice and equality of opportunity
  • Provide a well ordered, safe and well resourced environment for all
  • Develop a stimulating and rewarding educational experience where independent learning is promoted and the needs of individual pupils are met
  • Provide a professional education service which enjoys the confidence of parents and the support of the authority

    Our Patron

St Cadoc lived from approximately 500 – 580 A.D. and began his missionary activity with his own people in Wales.  Near Cardiff in Glamorganshire, he built a great Abbey at Llancarvan and became its first Abbot.

St Cadoc then extended his missionary activity to Scotland and,

according to ancient tradition, built a monastery at Cambuslang and spread the word through Perthshire and Angus.

He was martyred by the Saxons in 580 A.D. while celebrating mass.

His feast day is January 24th.  Mass is celebrated for the whole school by Canon Cunningham and activities organised to make this a memorable day.
