CURRICULUM AND ASSESSMENT

We follow the 5-14 Guidelines produced by the Scottish Executive. To ensure balance in the curriculum the time allocations are as follows:

• Language Arts 15%
• Mathematics 15%
• Expressive Arts 15%
• Environmental Studies 25%
• Religious/Moral Education 10%
• Flexibility 20%

The flexibility factor is spread across the curricular areas dependant on the stage and identified needs.
