PERSONAL , SOCIAL AND HEALTH EDUCATION in Woodfarm High School

The weekly single period of PSHE afforded to every pupil from S1 to S6 is a valued opportunity to exchange views, discuss topical issues and learn by varied teaching approaches. You can read about what pupils in individual year groups have been studying this session by looking at our other web pages.

Pupil participation is encouraged at every stage of the programme and views are sought on the relevance, success and enjoyment of the topics covered.

Our own extended Support team in Woodfarm contribute greatly to the success of the programme as do the many individual staff who deliver the lessons. PT's Support have introduced a monitoring programme whereby classes are visited and the pupil experience noted in line with ACE principles.

We always welcome feedback and comment from parents/guardians.

If anyone has suggestions regarding suitable topics or speakers please let us know.
